Rei Yokoyamada (横山田 零, Yokoyamada Rei) is a character in Gigant. He is a big fan of Papico, and later became her boyfriend.

Rei is a young high schooler with short dark hair.
Personality[]
Rei is a big fan of AV actress Papico and has all of her DVDs. His big dream is to become a movie director like his father, but doesn't really have good grades. He is nice and easily gets embarrassed in front of Chiho, so it took him quite a courage to ask Chiho out.
Plot[]
Rei was living normal school life, buying DVDs of Papico and enjoying them in his private time. He wanted to make a movie, but wasn't able to find an actress. One day he saw posters stating that Papico lived in his neighborhood and he ended taking them all down. But as he did, he was seen by Papico/Chiho, who invited him over a drink as a thanks. As they got to know each other, they started chatting more often. One day Chiho gave him a disc of an old man and after watching it, Rei thought it was independent film as the old man had grew bigger in it, but Chiho showed him the device the old man gave her which makes her big. In that moment, they were seen by Chiho's boyfriend, who started beating Rei, but Chiho pushed him away, which led to her boyfriend leaving and never returning.
As they continued to be friends, Rei was told about ETE from a friend and he started monitoring the site, realizing everything that was chosen in the site's poll was turning into reality. Eventually he asked Chiho if he has to be her boyfriend and she considered it and later accepted.

- The name Rei means "zero, nought" (零).
- Rei's surname Yokoyamada means "width, side/beside" (横) (yoko), "mountain, hill" (山) (yama) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
